The Job
We are seeking motivated Junior Engineers in Taiwan to join our team and contribute to the development of our cybersecurity software products. As a Junior Engineer, you will work closely with our senior development team to design, implement, and test software solutions that enhance the security posture of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers and cybersecurity experts to write software features that address cybersecurity challenges.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and Javascript
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
- Maintain best practices to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of software products.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to inform software development efforts.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues reported by clients or internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience programming with at least one of our programming languages (Ruby on Rails or Javascript)
- 3-8 years of professional experience with startups
- Strong work ethic
- Professional Fluency in English
- Able to have flexible working hours to collaborate with our NY office
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of software development principles, practices, and methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Knowledge of web application security concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities).
- Relevant internships, coursework, or projects demonstrating a passion for cybersecurity and software development.
